Awful wait times anytime of day. Ridiculous that the full service restaurant I work at can get tickets out faster than a place designed to be fast paced. I have no idea how corporate isn't on your ass all the time unless you are cheating the system.
I can understand some frustrations exists in a college town but we were sober, middle aged parents. At the very least, I would expect lack of a food manager let alone an arbitrary decision to “close early” likely is addressed in franchise agreement. In short, more than enough to keep us away from McDonalds as we are not “loving it.”
A nice McDonald's. Clean, modern, and very fast. Only real complaint is that the dining room has a bunch of those high bar-height tables that are all the rage right now. They look good, but aren't comfortable, so the only people who ever sit at them are people with kids who insist on sitting there for the novelty factor and people with no choice when the dining room is full. Either way, the space would be better served with regular tables or booths.
Wait time of 35 minutes to get through the drive-thru and then the chicken nuggets were severely over cooked and didn't get the sauce asked for. This is absolutely rediculous!!
Best egg McMuffin I’ve ever had. Service was extremely fast. Staff friendly.
We asked to speak with manager to explain early cancellation and was told no manager on duty. When car pulled up the screaming started (both attendant and driver at my wife and me). We were told, in very unprofessional terms, we would not be served and must return when lobby was open.
Customer service was appalling. My wife and I were in Charlottesville for parents’ weekend and staying in hotel across street. We hardly ever do a McDonalds run however the lateness of the hour limited our choices. We opted to walk across the street for a burger and drink. All doors were locked at 11:00 pm despite sign indicating lobby hours were till 12:00am. We walked to the drive thru (after repeated attempts to get staff to talk with us) and inquired as to early closure. We were inform we could not stand in drive thru and they would not speak with us while there (note: there were no cars present).
