I will definitely be back!

Staff very friendly... enjoyed our stay and would recommend. But needs some upgrading. Playground should be bigger. Nice hike area but needs cleaned up. Along with around pond needs cleared so you can get to it. Looks like maybe weather caused. Would like to know if any plans for upgrades.

This place is close to Monticello and an okay drive to downtown Charlottesville.

Great place would stay there again... funny owners, they make sure you have a great time and that all of there sights are in good shap

The only reason I'm giving this four stars instead of five is because they say they have heat. Instead, they have a plug in heater that doesn't really warm up the room in the way that you'd want it to after spending all day in the freezing cold. So bring heavy blankets. A couple of them.

Tent sites are very small and stacked directly next to one another with zero privacy and tree cover. Really defeats the purpose of camping in my opinion. The sites are actually covered in gravel. Busy road wraps around the back of the tiny campground. Swing set is bent and beat up. The pool looks like it's out of a 70s horror film. Wood bundles are overly small for the price. Despite multiple calls to staff before staying, we ended up being charged hidden fees. Could have just camped in my own driveway for all that!!

Despite the cold, this place really gave us a great experience. We got a one bedroom cabin and it was clean and comfortable. They have cable and Wifi, but we didn't need it. It was $130 for the weekend, which, I feel like is maybe a *little* too expensive, but definitely affordable.

The women's bathroom was very clean, though I did not take a shower so I don't know if those were up to par. The staff was friendly (and helpful) and the atmosphere was quiet and calm.

The area for tent campers is great..lots of space, nice sites. The area for RVs/campers however leaves much to be desired. VERY tight layout..had to pull in our canopy so that it wasn't hit by campers leaving on the gravel road right by our site. Sites were not very nice.

Never again!
