On behalf of my roommates and me, I would like to point out that a so-called "good neighbor" does not make unqualified accusations, exaggerate the truth, strong-arm and antagonize their neighbors, or diminish their poor behavior for the sake of saving face. The pastor, and especially head of security, at FBC owe my roommates and me an apology for their dishonesty and unqualified accusations. Our review will not be removed until this happens.

The pastor and head of security at First Baptist Church recently knocked on my door to say that my trash was found in their parking lot. Apparently, there were envelopes and boxes with personally identifying information that led them to my door. Here's the problem, though: Any person can take any trash and discard it anywhere. It goes without saying that a name on an envelope provides essentially zero useful information about the vandal, so my roommates and me asked about video footage. We demanded proof. The head of security became temperamental and accusatory, saying "We have clear video footage of the person that discarded trash in our parking lot. If the problem persists then we will use it. Don't let this happen again". My roommates and me spent the next two days speaking with the police, pastor, head of security, and landlord of our property to resolve the issue. We eventually learned that the head of security never watched the footage- meaning that he had no proof that my roommates and me vandalized their property. When our landlord requested footage, and when my roommates and me went to the pastor's office, he said that they were actually not interested in scanning their video footage. According to the pastor, it would "just take too long, and I don't want to make my head of security do that". He told my roommates and me that he wanted to be a "good neighbor" and "just put this to rest" by letting it go.
