This waffle house always has good food and friendly hostess/servers. Great location with ample seating.
My husband and I had visited this Waffle House previously and did not have issues. I brought my parents who were in town visiting a couple of weekends ago to this Waffle House and we were not so impressed. The coffee mug that I got had old crumbs and debris in it and when I tried to get the attention of our server, it took her awhile to come over. When she did come over, she blamed this on the people on the previous shift for not being detail oriented and doing their jobs properly. This was an inappropriate response to the issue. It doesn't matter who's fault it was, she should have simply apologized and given me another mug as this was also her responsibility to look before giving things to customers.
The food was great and Mr Lee was a great server. Love this location.
One of a chain in Charlottesville, VA. Good food, friendly service. Would definitely go there again.
I understand that this is a Waffle House and they are known for not being the cleanest, but this was above and beyond what we had seen before in this location and in other Waffle Houses.
The table was sticky and filthy. My parents and I moved to three different tables before finding one that was ok enough to sit at and yet was still sticky. Behind the counters in the cooking area had garbage and filth everywhere.
Best breakfast ever other than moms, they are clean, welcoming and very prompt on service. I enjoy the old dinner feel and being able to watch your food being cooked. I had a waffle and city ham both were exceptional, never have bad service or food when I go.
