I was really excited to see IT and got great tickets for the Alamo. They really made the experience great! They had a clown in the theater giving people their food, which was creepy, and totally set the mood for the movie. I will agree that it is not clear enough when you buy the tickets that you need to arrive early. I only knew because I have been to theaters like the Alamo. But overall, great job guys.
Finally, a reason to go back to the theater! Small theaters with large screens, dynamite sound, and unbelievably comfortable chairs. Drinks and food served at your seat, on demand, and the choices are outstanding! Chatter and sell phone use is strictly prohibited; about time! It's all made for a fantastic viewing experience that I am willing to pay for. For all the quality of "regular theaters," I just stay home and wait for it to come out on DVD! Alamo is a new breed of theater!
My fav part of the place is phones and talking are forbidden once the movie starts. It makes the experience soo much better!
Can also partake in food and drinks before and during the movie. Not just candy but burgers, pizza, salads, and everything in between.
Great food, friendly staff, and really nice theater. Not too big of a screen but all content is projected in 4k and every theater has a great sound setup. Leather seating and lots of space to eat while watching your movie. Highly recommend this theater.
The only downside is that there are no other movies currently showing at my location that I would care to see. So sad, because otherwise I'm really looking forward to my next visit to Alamo!
Alamo Drafthouse are the best. Going to a normal theatre now feels so... Dirty and boring.
The place is super clean and the seats new and comfy.

Get there 30 minutes early to enjoy the pre show (various clips related to your movie from interviews, YouTube, old commercials, cartoons, etc)
