So far I have had nothing but bad experiences with this office. I was referred here for chronic headaches, and dizziness I had been having and after I was seen, I was prescribed a course of medication (three different medications) to be taken together. I took the first two as prescribed (one at the onset of a headache and the other before bed, not to take the last one until morning) and went to sleep, only to be awoken feeling horribly sick, in a cold sweat with an unshakable feeling of panic and anxiety in my stomach that wouldn't go away for hours and hours. I had never felt so horrible in my life... I almost went to the emergency room. Around 3am things started to subside, if only a little, and by 4 or 5am I was able to go to sleep. When I woke up the next morning I Googled the medications the next day, I found multiple hits on various reputable medical websites stating that the two drugs I took should not be prescribed together because they can cause a potentially deadly side effect. Needless to say, I ceased taking the medications and proceeded to call the office to report the side effect and ask for further advice. The first time I called, I got a message that everyone must be busy helping patients or other callers, and to leave a voicemail and someone would get back to me. I left a voicemail. I called twice more that day with the same result. It has now been FIVE DAYS. No one has returned any of the four voicemails I left. My condition is persisting, I am not taking the medications I was prescribed out of fear of the same effects I previously experienced, and I have had no contact with this office from anyone despite my constant attempts to get in touch. At my last visit I was also told to remain on bed rest and to call for notes excusing me from work the next week. Well, it's now next week and I have no note, no further medical advice, and no communication with a neurologist or anyone from this office whatsoever. As this is obviously not over, I will update this review as time goes on and someone hopefully contacts me finally... I SINCERELY HOPE that something will happen that can change my mind about this place, and that I can in good conscience come back and change this review from one star to five. UPDATE (1/18): I heard back yesterday... was given advice on how to proceed with the medications and Dr. confirmed that I should be on bed rest, but was told that he would be "too busy" to write me the necessary note excusing me from graduate courses that begin today. After I protested he said I could e-mail him a note for him to sign (I thought it was strange he had me write the note, usually offices will have notes prepared with checkboxes for work, school, etc. already ready to sign) and he would fax it to me. Now 24 hours later, no note. I keep calling with no response so far...
