The Carpe Cafe is a surprisingly cozy place for how many people are constantly moving through it. The atmosphere is very inviting, and the coffee is some of the best in Cville. The people are always friendly, and I haven't been disappointed yet. They also have some pretty outstanding sandwiches and donuts. As far as 'off the beaten road' coffee shops go, I'd consider the Cafe to be one of the best I've found. If you're in the area you should definitely check it out.
