My mom had her surgery here and I can't thank UVA hospital enough.
Taking my wife to an appointment at primary care, I was amazed at the level of incompetence and utter indifference of the front line staff with whom we interacted. The hospital only gets two stars because I assume the doctors, nurses, and other staff beyond the gloomy front counters are better trained and more competent than the hourly staff. What a terrible experience! It's no wonder that everyone in Charlottesville says go to Martha Jefferson if you have any choice or control over your doctor.

Terrible experience. Had to park miles away, staff unpleasant and obviously didn't want to be there either. And they stopped taking Tricare ins? How can you not take the insurance provider for our military?
