Site of all the rallying and insanity here in cville lately. I'm not rating it highly because of that at all, but because i like going there to be with friends as it's very convenient in proximity to downtown.
Love this park I'm still calling it Lee park though.
Statue was covered in black plastic. We did not see what we came to see. Park was full of homeless.
Went there last Friday night. It was a little crowded. There was a cool candlelight vigil. Gotta love Charlottesville parks and Rec!
Always amazing events done here the tom tom festival was fantastic this week they do it twice a year thanks to the Sponsors we all
Had a great time walking around in a historic park filled with much turmoil right now this is where the Robert E Lee statue is still there tarted as we fight for its freedom to stay where he belongs for the public to enjoy with pride and learn about history near where our forefathers planned things in the nearby court house this park and area has so much history. The courthouse at one time was a church on weekends one time. But go walk this park see it's small but a quaint area to hold a music and events. The tom tom festival is twice a year there the spring one is much bigger and a week long. There are other events that have been held in peace in this park.
