I had the worst customer service I've ever experienced in my life. The store manager interrupted me several times while I was trying to explain my phone situation to her, so I never got to tell her the whole story. I was very polite and nice, but she responded rudely. She didn't let me finish talking and basically yelled at me over the phone. Extremely unprofessional conduct on their end.
My grandfather purchased a cell phone from Tower Phones on Cherry Avenue in Charlottesville. Let me just say this has been one of the worst experiences I have EVER dealt with. He went to the store to purchase this phone on 08/24/2016, and came home to find that he doesn't have signal at his house. I told him to take the phone back and cancel the services since he doesn't get signal at home. He attempted to return the phone on 08/25/2016. He was told by the associates there that he couldn't return the phone, because he signed a contract stating that he couldn't return the phone. I called them to ask questions regarding this "contract" on 08/26/2016. I was told that when he came in the phone was working fine, and there was nothing they could do. I told them I wanted to speak with their manager. They transferred me to Maria whom told me yet again that there isn't anything they can do, but they could have their manager call me on Saturday, Sunday or Monday. It reached Monday (today), and there still was no phone call back. I spoke with a representative today whose name was David I believe whom told me that there was nothing that I could do, and since the amount is so little why do I care so much. This is beyond ridiculous to do to an elderly person who was told he'd have service at his home, and when he got home found that there wasn't any service. If I could give this business 0 stars I would. Robbing an elderly person of their money for promised services is wrong. Thankfully, boost mobile refunded my grandfather for the services/insurance purchased for the phone.
i have had the worst experience having this company. My sister reccomended i switch from verizon to them, that being said it was the biggest mistake ever. I have had to purchase 3 junky phones fromthese people, terrible service, terrible phones, and the store is just ghetto and awful. The employees are so rude and unhelpful, and plain out disrespectful.I would never reccomend this place to anyone.
My experience here was terrible, I drove all the way across town showed up at 640 and the man who was working tonight locked the door before I could even walk in. He looked at me got on his cell phone and acted like I wasn't there. If I'm not mistaken this stores closing time is 7 PM not 640, bit thanks a lot for the inconvenience.
Absolutely LOVED my experience today at the cherry location. Heather went above and beyond to help me change three lines, and get three new phones. She knew exactly what I needed to get for my little brothers first phone. Now my mom and grandma also have the hook up!! Will definitely be going back for the great service. She was an absolute doll! And she was trying to run two stores at once!! Booked it to the pantops location, and got back before we returned (had to go pick up the little brother from school early of course! He needed his new birthday phone!!) Thank you for everything, Heather!
