Hand and Stone is an excellent place for a terrific massage and facial. The facility is spotless and the staff is very courteous and eager to please. You can't beat the price and the perks of monthly membership with no long term contract. I've been patronizing H&S since it opened in Charlottesville and have never had a bad experience.
Very professional. The massage therapist talked to me and made me feel very comfortable. He specifically mentioned he would wash his hands before starting, which was very reassuring because I am concerned about cleanliness. The room was soothing, the warm bed was a plus, and the music just added to the whole experience. I like how everything was done according to my preferences and needs. Also, the front desk staff were very inviting. I loved the experience!
Wonderful experience, bought the monthly package after my first visit. To be honest, at first I thought, why did I do that? Since then I've gone several times and my skin looks so much better, my large pores have been reduced and my skin looks amazing. I used one visit for a deep massage, and I felt so rejuvenated afterwards. The staff is professional and the spa is elegant. I'm so glad I made the investment, it was definitely worth it!
Excellent experience. I initially joined the spa’s membership program at another location and have found this one to be equally as friendly and professional. Very relaxing and clean spa. The staff are great. I get a facial once a month and it really helps to keep my skin healthy and clear.

There was a fire alarm incident that caused my service to be abruptly terminated but Miguel and Melissa made it right. Awesome people. Awesome spa.
