It's an oldie, but a goodie. Not usually as crowded as the AFC, this is a great gym to go to for basketball or volleyball with your friends, or just for a workout in the weight room. The multi purpose room is great for indoor soccer, or dodgeball, and Mem is the only gym with a sparring room
I come here to play volleyball. They usually have a net set up.
Too many undergrads.
Ignore the haters, go to Mem Gym. Most UVA gyms are filled with people who seem to live there, run a yoga studio, or play professional sports. Mem is for the average Joe who just wants to get a work out in without pressure or judgement. You can go there and be yourself.
Cool old gym with lots of character. I miss the old Victorian style pool.
