Most of the staff are quite amicable. There is quite a selection of everything. But don't you dare require assistance with shoes, those people certainly have better things to do...
Truly do not understand why anyone would shop at this location as opposed to shopping at the Fifth Street Station location. The managers at this location are rude, lazy, and have no desire to take care of customers. They tried to make my fiance keep a broken paintball gun that looked as if it had already been used when we took it out of the box (all the parts were thrown loosely into a box). The gun had a major air leak and the manager would not answer our questions but instead made a team member tell us there was nothing they could do. They didn't even tell us to call the manufacturer! Took the gun to the 5th St location and they happily replaced our gun with a brand-new, properly packed model. I will never go back to this location.
Compared to the new location south of town, this location is hardly worth visiting. The inventory is not nearly as varied, often resulting in us leaving in frustration and driving across town anyway. Worse, though, is the customer service at the Rio Hill store. The shoe department is chronically understaffed, making it difficult to try on and purchase shoes. When I recently had a problem with a defective product, the store manager was rude and condescending. His argument was that his store didn't make the product, so why should they stand behind it. I was flabbergasted! I took the product to the other location, where it was returned with no problem and an apology! I will not be returning to the Rio Hill store and urge you to consider saving yourself the time and just going to the Fifth Street property.
I recently bought a paintball gun at this location. After shooting it once it immediately had an air leak. I called this store about 2 days after my purchase and they said since I had shot it they could not exchange the product or give my money back. The manager would not speak with me but forced an associate to run back and forth between us to carry the conversation. I'll call the company that makes the paintball gun to try and get this problem resolved. I would not recommend shopping at this location based on the customer service.
