This was the absolute worst experience I've ever had with a travel agent. We had to cancel the trip due to illness and she didn't even know the cancellation policy for the airline or resort. She gave incorrect information on the cancellation policy for BOTH, so I researched each company's policy on my own and had to request that she contact them again regarding cancellation and which policies she needed to cite so that we could get refunded. She didn't return emails frequently, nor did she give us status updates to keep us informed of what was going on. When we were initially planning the trip, we gave her our budget and she kept trying to upgrade us to rooms that were outside of our budget. She didn't listen well to any of the information that I gave to her for the bookings and I had to repeat myself multiple times throughout the planning process. When I did have conversations with her, she would talk over me. It was a nightmare and I am very dissatisfied with how the entire situation was handled.
Globe Travel is the best travel planner in town! Thanks to them, we had the honeymoon of a lifetime! They gave us discounted prices, setup all logistics(like connector shuttles), provided surprise Hawaiian lei's for us when we arrived in Hawaii, setup memorable excursions, and went to bat for us when the airline delayed our flight by a day. Jane at Globe got the airline to give us a complete refund for our flight and pay for our dinner that night. Having Globe Travel plan our honeymoon was valuable in so many ways and we even paid less than what we would've putting it together ourselves online! We highly recommend Globe Travel for all travel needs. They are sure to impress!
