My husband and I have been going to Rochelle at Peace Frogs Travel/Outfitters since 2008. We keep going back because of the relationship we have developed with Rochelle. We feel like she knows us, what we like to do, the types of places we like to stay, and she makes the best suggestions for our trip. We love that she takes the stress out of planning and allows us the opportunity to just focus on the excitement of it all.
We thought we would enjoy a river cruise but how much we actually did enjoy our recent trip exceeded our expectations. My wife and I took our first river cruise in early October 2017 that started with a side trip to Prague. Once on the ship, we cruised on the Danube River for seven days ending in Budapest. We were on an Avalon Waterways ship with about 110 passengers. The accommodations, crew, food, cruise guide and tour guides were wonderful and we felt pampered the entire trip. The "post card" sites and scenes we encountered will forever be etched in our minds. We especially liked that we got to know several of the passengers and at every ship meeting or gathering, we saw familiar faces. That is one of the benefits we expected from a river cruise. The other thing we liked was that even though there were scheduled tours very day, we could just stay back and relax on the upper deck, in the lounge or in our stateroom with food and drink readily available. This is the forth trip Rochelle DeBaun, Peace Frogs planned for us, and like the others, everything went smoothly and we felt we got the most for our money. If you are looking for a more relaxed way to visit a variety of places, not have to worry about moving to another hotel and like the idea of being with a smaller group, consider a river cruise.
The sales associate stopped me right before I could get in the store and asked me what was I looking for? I told her that I was not sure and that I would like to enter the store, she replied with " I thought that you may be interested in sales items!!! Disrespectful gestures
We told Peace Frog the things we wanted to do in Australia in 2014, and they set everything up, including our ride with a mail deliverer visiting cattle stations. About all we had to worry about was getting on and off various forms of transportation. Earlier, in 2009, they arranged a rather complicated set of air segments so we could visit Vietnam, Cambodia, and various Western European countries on the same trip. I never would have attempted that myself.
I called to ask for assistance booking a day trip to NYC. The girl who answered didn't know how to help me. I told her I wanted to book Amtrack to get there and then have a limo driver to take my party around the city. She didn't know what I was asking for. What is a driver she said? Then she said do you need airline tickets? I hung up in frustration. The website won't let you enter an inquiry either. Pathetic. I won't call them again.
