This is a wonderful park with miles of trails. It's just hilly enough to be interesting . In every season it's fascinating and beautiful.
Most excellent place to walk, bike, horseback. The dogs and I walk tgere several times a week. Well maintained.
I almost loose my mind in there, my son and I walked into the woods following the trail is NOT signposted I thought I was walking back to the exit and I guess I was walking backwards my GPS Was not responding I my 9 years old son and I were getting very scare because It was getting dark MY PHONE WAS DYING and I called 911 thanks God I found a house AFTER 46 minutes with the 911 on the phone, but I was nobody there I give the operator the house number and they found us after almost an hour and a half later because they said that I walked into Orange county. Im a very smart women and I never thought that something like that will ever happen to me but I spoke with the police officer and apparently Im not the first person getting lost into this park.
Great trails for biking with friends or young family members. The extension across the creek is very well done. Deffinitly adds to the experience
Lots of good trails and you can take your dog. It's a relatively short drive from the surrounding towns.
