Charlottesville up coming Wegmans is a shame! They have broken privacy laws and process of hiring is wrong and discriminating. After my girlfriend put in application with wegman she has had every interview all the way up to a background check. Background checks are suppose to be obtain to confirm you are not a criminal and have not lied on your application. Somehow they have done a over extensive background check on her including cut hair out of her hair for examination and bringing up extremely old job that she didn't put on hee application from when she was young that she left and kept for a long in order to pass judgment against her. Personally i have never been through such B.S. in my life for a job and I have never seen a company do this type of action. Because of her old jobs when she was young even though she has been at others for years they choose to place her on hold for employment after she already had a company physical through the company. Here is my point, don't have people doing all this running around just to tell someone no or dig deep on things that isnt that serious. Long as a person is not a felon or been in trouble thats all that should matter....but Wegmans is doing too much. This shows that even after if you achieve employment with Wegmans, they will do everything in their power to hold you responsible for something and look for reasons to FIRE you. GOOD LUCK.
