i spent 10 hours a day here when i was 18-19 living in North Garden. i miss it so much!!!!
4) Tony hawk supposedly donated 25k for a new skatepark in 2015... it does not take 2 years to build a skatepark and not for nothing I searched good and hard and saw no type of development for a skatepark .
1) false advertisement , on the google pages they show bowls , half pipes and spine transfers and all kinds of Bubba's, I arrive to my dismay to find a couple of bullshit quarter pipes and some Rinky dink crappy transfer box
2) you HAVE to wear a helmet... I'm a 25 year old man I've skated in HUNDREDS of facilities where you simply sign a waiver and if you get hurt it is on you . Nope not here you can be 50 years old and you still have to wear a helmet .

Literally , this is the worst skatepark I've ever been to in my whole life .
This skatepark is terrible. It says it is one adress and then we drive 1 hour finding it. The rails don't bring at all and there's no run up for the stair set. Don't come here, it is terrible. And they make you wear a helmet. No wonder people only spend 10 minutes hear
CHARLOTTESVILLE skate park is a joke and should be demolished. It's a shame that the kids only have this piece of crap to hang out at
3) they lie about when they are open ( I've only seen gates open 2 time a weeks at most )
