Good place to eat with decent tasting food. Very busy and very college student oriented. Service was fast and the staff I dealt with where pleasant enough.
It's decent food. Very inexpensive. They do a poor job of keeping the sweet tea and utensils stocked at the self service counter. Excellent shakes.
Maybe I'm the only sober person stopping in, but I wasn't impressed. Ordered a small (very small) burger, fries, and a milkshake for 7$ & change (definitely NOT ~ 1$/item!). The burger meat was good but the toppings were haphazardly slapped on. The fries had obviously been under a warming light for a while, but were warm at least. The milkshake was the consistency of soft serve ice cream if not thicker... No way I could enjoy it with my meal unless I literally ate it. I didn't get a drink to eat, though, that's what the food was for. Doubtful I will return after my first visit there.
Always a go-to spot when everything else is closed. Probably the best milkshakes in town, and the best hush puppies I've ever tasted. Hits the spot for a good low cost meal that tastes great!
My family enjoys coming here. It's always clean and well kept, the staff is friendly, and the food is always delicious! The burgers and chicken strips are good. My personal favorite is the barbeque sandwich. It's North Carolina style and topped with Texas Pete and slaw. It's the best NC style bbq I've had locally, plus I don't have the drive to North Carolina to get it. This place isn't fancy, but it's always good and it's the cheapest fast food I'm aware of.
