For the most part the restaurant is clean, Friendly staff and plenty of clean dishes for side treats, (like mini corn muffins) but today is not what I am used to... I am guessing is due to short staff..????
Great eats. The salad bar is terrific.
Always fresh and friendly. Variety and flavor abound. Salad bar is great, sandwiched are nutritious,,, and ice cream for desert. One of my very favorites.
I have been here a hour and the manager, Vince, hasn't washed his hands a single time. Here is a list of things he has touched: the buffet tongs, salad mix, bathroom door, cash register, a bunch of dirty dishes, the dirty dish cart, the drink area, clean silverware, his own personal drinking cup which he left on the back table, clean plates, to go items, and the list goes on. They are understaffed by probably two which is okay because the staff is extremely friendly and working very hard. The manager has done everything possible to avoid jumping in and helping on the line. He hasn't wiped down the buffet and there are still at least 8 dirty tables. He has taken one or two to go orders, but he is basically just walking around. I work in food service and they have been busy I get it, but you have to wash your hands. I love Jason's Deli and this is the only one in town I will not be back, because not washing your hands is just disgusting. Kudos to the line staff for hanging in there and keeping the smiles going. Unfortunately their manager is practicing pretty bad habits. In the 15 minutes it took me to write this he still hadn't washed his hands and a dishwasher came out of the back dug in his ear and then put away clean dishes.
Wonderful food, wonderful staff. Smiling faces and delicious food paired with free ice cream!
