Great food, good drinks, slow lunch service. We had short rib grilled cheese and Cobb salad. Both highly recommended. Good pour with wine by the glass. But we waited about 1/2 hour before our drinks arrived. The restaurant was about 1/2 full.
Excellent. Great service. Wonderful kids menu, best we have seen (3 kids 10 and under). Wednesday 1/2 price wine bottles. Risotto was cooked brilliantly. We will return. Adapts to allergic needs.
We've had good experiences here in the past, but tonight was disappointing. The service was very poor. One of our group ordered sweet potato fries, got regular fries, and the sweet potato fries never came until we were through eating, although we asked about it several times. Another member of our party got a salad after specifically saying she did not want one. The meal was not hot and the coffee was actually cold. Not sure I'd go back.
Service was very good, though a little slow at some points, and the food was truly satisfying. Very enjoyable visit. Would definitely recommend. (Would like to give 4.5, but don't have that option.)
This is apparently our second time going to this restaurant. We actually didn't remember going there the first time, until we saw a previous review we had left on a different website - both of these occasions were while traveling. To put it simply, they don't disappoint. They I have Celiac and thus must eat gluten free - not because it's the "cool" thing to do, but because I'll get sick otherwise. First, the restaurant is VERY accommodating. They have LOTS of options for appetizers, entrees, and desserts. One of the best out there. Additionally, our server tonight was Eric (Erik?). He was VERY good. He was extremely knowledgeable of the menu and Celiac/gluten free dining needs. He was able to explain and suggest dinner options like he wrote the menu himself. He even suggested I try a combination of risotto and sauce that I would not have tried otherwise, but at his suggestion, it was delicious!! Kudos to Eric. Kudos to Burtons. If in the area again, we will certainly return!
