The food was incredible. The entire menu sounded amazing but I selected the wood fired oysters and fried catfish which were both excellent. The atmosphere was very cute and the staff was very friendly. I highly recommend it.
The food was good and there's a large list of wines and canned/bottled beers (no draft). The atmosphere was also nice. But it's pricey. Even for a tapas place, your money can go farther elsewhere.
We took my sister here for a graduation celebration and the chef was incredibly accommodating of her fish allergy! She loved the food and we were glad she was able to eat so many of the items on the menu, which are all amazing. I can't even pick a favorite dish.
Delicious, but expensive. I had the "ribs n rangs". The bartender was extremely friendly and seemed to honestly care about our experience there.
I appreciate a restaurant with a wonderful concept executed in such an elegant way. Just walking into Oakhart, I am immediately submerged with comfort even on the busiest of evenings. The staff is welcoming and helpful. The food and cocktails are crafted incredibly. I can appreciate all of the components of the food without feeling overpowered by one ingredient. The cocktails are made to precision, which is difficult to find. It's a cozy, beautifully designed atmosphere. I can enjoy the company I am with without feeling distracted by others around me. Everything is fairly priced for the quantity and quality that is received. Definitely a must visit in Charlottesville.
