Is there less than one star? Dirty cigarette smoke car DRENCHED in a masking agent chemical known as "air freshener" Not possible to have less service and lower functioning help on site and on the phone. I can't tell you how illogical this interaction was considering how much easier it would have been to sympathize with the customer, admit it was unacceptable and take logical measures to make sure I didn't pay extra for their mistake. I didn't want refund. I wanted my rental agreement to start from the time I got a non-stincky car and wanted to extend the rental. They PENALIZE you for wanting to do more business with them!! Don't bother calling this branch or the one at the airport, they don't answer the phone because they have figured out it transfers you to the national number anyway, so you can get help from India related to your rental car experience here in the US. Brilliant. NEVER, NEVER AGAIN! If there is any justice, some day, I don't care when, the chapter 11 process will begin for the bottom feeders who run this whole joke of an operation.
I rent from Budget at least 5 times per year. I use the same location all the time. Same 2 people are always there to greet me. They are very nice and extremely helpful. Recommended I sign up for Fastbreak, because they see me so often. And I did, so glad I did. The lovely young lady there actually helped me sign up. What a pleasure my experience with Budget, and the Nice people who work at Rio Rd in Charlottesville VA.
Why isn't there an option for 0 stars? If you want to get talked to like trash this is the place to go! The customer service is 0. The representative is beyond unprofessional! I felt so uncomfortable because the representative was smoking cigarettes outside, and I had to find her.... her breast were so revealed i felt like I was in a sleezy night club. Wow, I will never use this location for travel ever again! Really hope that Budget can possibly find better employees. It's sad that the company is losing so much revenue because this lady can't be bothered to do her job- if you are still thinking about using this company maybe check out the yelp reciews-
