I came in to take advantage of the Free "Check Engine Light" offer on my Subaru Forester. I was in & out within 10 mins; the problem was fixed and it didn't cost me a dime! Dennis and Jack were very helpful and informative.
I have nothing but good things to say about the guys at Aamco, They have fixed up my car and my wife's car multiple times. Every time I have it in they are super friendly and they have been great about honoring warranty work. I have the lifetime warranty on my car and they have never given me any trouble getting any issues fixed. They even tracked down all my old checkup receipts for me! They are my go to shop and have definitely earned my trust.
Exellent customer service! I walked in without an appointment to fix a broken headlight and they quickly got the part and replaced it within minutes. The customer service manager, Dennis Engle, was very personable and happy to help. I would go back in a heartbeat!
went to this place because of the name...mistake. I asked for one thing got another. The vehicle seemed in worse shape after the rebuilt, refused to shift and leaked tranny fluid in the garage, which I had to clean up! They (as if they were doing me a favor) towed the vehicle back in but refused to provide me transportation. I truly believe they figured an out of state person-- let's charge what they want regardless of what they actually need done. When speaking with the individuals in the office, they seemed unaware that a woman would know or understand the automotive repair industry, so their "explanations didn't wash with me. Not sure we got what we paid for. If you're traveling through the are ask locals for a reputable repair facility, don't rely on the nationwide name. The locals I was visiting were appalled at the way we were treated.
I won't take my car anywhere else. I trust the staff at AAMCO like family friends. They are friendly, polite, and enjoyable to talk to. I've been in 3 times over the course of the past 2 years and was not charged 2/3 times. The other time they replaced a piece in the engine quickly, efficiently, and at a reasonable cost. This morning I dropped off my car with a large plastic piece hanging down from the under-belly of the car. Because it was a quick and relatively easy fix, they did not charge me at all. I really appreciate the time they spend to take good care of and get to know the customers. I would recommend AAMCO to other college students or anyone else I know.
