The cookies were great and the beds were comfortable. I also really liked the breakfast. My only problem was that the elevators were old and kind of sketchy.
Lobby and public areas are very nice but the rooms are just standard hotel rooms. Nothing fancy but everything was clean. They did a great job of accommodating pets, offering water bowls and a grass area in the back for dogs to run. It was close to the airport and had shuttle service. Overflow parking in the back for the Sams Club was perfect for our moving truck and tow dolly.
This place was great! Clean, spacious and comfortable room. Great breakfast and personable, friendly staff. Love the warm complimentary cookie at check-in! Nice touch. Would love to return.
Rally surprised by this hotel! I stayed with family before a early morning flight there, and the hotel was superb. Great staff, great location, and the architecture of the building was very interesting. The free appetizers and drinks were accompanied with great service and the executive level buffet was good. The airport shuttle service was fast and convenient. I would highly recommend this hotel to all.
Stayed 2 night at DoubleTree Charlottesville for a business conference. This is a nice hotel located about 20 minutes from downtown Charlottesville. Immediate location around hotel is standard big box retail and restaurant chains. I stayed in a double bed room. Beds are comfortable, linens and room are clean. Front desk staff is great and you get a warm cookie at check-in! Other amenities at this hotel include a pool, fitness center, restaurant/bar, and airport shuttle.
