I love staying at the Oakhurst Inn and eating at the cafe. It truly feels like a retreat. The staff are kind and professional! I wish I could stay longer.
This is a house converted into a restaurant the staff is friendly, the food was well prepared and made with care I recommend you try this over some of those franchise restaurants it's a touch above and the menu provides many different choices from the normal
I really want to like it here. Love the atmosphere. Have gone back multiple times, but each time I remember why I questioned it. The service is bad. They just can't seem to become efficient. If it's your coffee coming out after your food or waiting 20 minutes for them to take your credit card, there's always something with the service. The food is often quite good, but today was the last straw--it made me sick. I'm sure people will continue to fill the place and and I'm sure the service woes will continue.
We stayed here for a wedding and pretty much booked up an entire building. We loved the seating area/library/common spaces on each floor where everyone was able to meet and enjoy snacks together.
Well-appointed, historic "dorm-style" accommodations with friendly staff and well-stocked common rooms. Close to campus, complimentary valet parking. Good experience.
Absolutely loved the Oakhurst!
The rooms are beautiful and very recently renovated. Only thing I would caution people about is that some rooms are *very* small and tough to maneuver around the bed.
