I can't recommend Straight Up enough. I wish I had more friends with car troubles so I could tell them to go to Straight Up. They'll fix your car, they'll do it right the first time, they'll give you a nation-wide warranty on the parts and labor (at least they have for everything I've needed), and they'll charge you less than anyone else in town. They offer discounts for students, military, and first time customers, to sweeten the pot even more. They're honest, they're hard working, they stand by their work, and above all, they won't let you waste your money on service you don't need. I mean, what more can I say? Oh -- the staff is wonderful as well. Elizabeth is a dear: the perfect mix of helpful, kind, and knowledgeable.

Such an amazing experience with them! I thought all hope was gone and that my car was going to be totaled (A different garage in Charlottesville had it for over two weeks and still couldn't tell me what was wrong, just that it wasn't worth fixing)....until I had it towed to Straight Up! They figured out what was wrong and had it fixed in less than two weeks. Not to mention how kind everyone is, including the owner Dave!! I highly recommend this shop and I'm so glad I found them when I did!!!
